The nxV500 precision power amplifier is now released and available for purchase.

The nxV500 module is a mono amplifier board, so two of these will be required for a stereo amplifier.

The nxV500 is designed as a very high performace, high end audio amplifier in the Recording Studio's, Audiophile Amplifier's, Home Theatre and Sub-Woofer Amplifier's

The nxV500 has XLR Balanced inputs as standard and it can be configured for RCA single ended input as well.

The performance of this amplifier is truely awesome and unlike a lot of amplifiers these days. The power ratings are continuously rated into a pure sinwave.

The thermal stability of this amplifier has shown to be extremely stable at any power level with the DC bias not shifting anymore than a few millivolts. Pulse tests have also been performed on the amplifier whereby a 2ms pulse width signal is injected into the amplifier input and the signal is increased until the output starts to clip. The output pulse that was measure reached as high as 75 volts AC into a 8 Ohm load and 70 volt AC into a 4 Ohm load. All this from a +-80 volt rail. This shows a peak output power of 700 watts peak and 1225 watts peak respectively.
